Suzanne and Dave’s wedding in the Mustard Seed House, Ballingarry
When Suzanne told me that her and Dave would have their wedding in the Mustard Seed House Hotel, I got really excited. I heard so much about the place already: beautiful country house, amazing food, lovely welcome… and so I was really happy to finally get to discover the Mustard Seed at Echo Lodge as an ideal wedding venue for smaller parties.
It is beautifully placed in Co. Limerick, not far from Adare, overlooking the charming village of Ballingarry. It’s not just a unique little gem among country house weddings, but also for short breaks a lovely destination. Horse riding, golfing, fishing are only a stone through away, and why not simply relax in one of the houses amazing suites after a delicious meal…?
At my arrival I was impressed by the beautiful garden which later gave a fantastic backdrop for some nice family shots, overlooking the roof tops of Ballingarry. The back yard was beautifully planted with trees and flowers. It had a very natural feel and the little fountain was a great prop for romantic photographs…
Suzanne arrived from the hair dresser to get ready for her wedding in the Mustard Seed House. She was well organised which allowed us a bit more time on single shots with her. I totally loved Suzanne’s dress which was made by her auntie! It really made Suzanne be an outstanding bride! Well, having said that, Dave didn’t look too scabby either!
The marriage ceremony took place in a beautifully bright room with views out to the front and back garden. It was a civil ceremony but very emotional and personal as friends and family read wisdom of love and life as a couple…
When the seductive smell of roast lamb hit the reception area we finished off our day together with some more romantic shots in the back garden which was well sheltered from the wind that had picked up during the day.
Thanks Suzanne and David for a fantastic and enjoyable wedding in the Mustard Seed House!
