Civil marriage ceremony at the Mustard Seed at Echo Lodge in Ballingarry with Aoife and Fergal
Aoife and Fergal’s civil marriage ceremony at the Mustard Seed at Echo Lodge in Ballingarry with Aoife and Fergal was certainly my shortest ever wedding photography in Ireland! Being a small and intimate family wedding with no more than 40 people they ask me to only cover their civil marriage ceremony at the charming Mustard Seed at Echo Lodge and family photographs after. Working really efficiently we could squeeze in an entire Wedding day experience!
At my arrival I met Fergal and his groomsmen, who were in great form and helping to make him look a star!
Then I went up to the lovely bridal suite to meet with the girls. I absolutely loved Aoife’s beautiful dress which impressed by it’s simplicity! The fresh and bright yellow of her wedding bouquet was unusual and matched perfectly with the summery mood were were lucky to be set in when the sun came out…
The big moment was one of BIG emotions: Tears and Laughter! Accompanied by wonderful piano play and enriched with Celtic rituals Aoife and Mark’s civil ceremony was a heart warming event for everybody!
I loved the decoration of tables in the Mustard Seed as they were colourful and much different to the “clean” and elegant style of big Hotels. Every table had their own individual touch and was a great attraction to the eye! Very homely, a little continental, fantastic atmosphere! Loved it!
Their wedding cake was home made and for some reason it was placed in the library of the Mustard Seed surrounded by many of the books that were dear to Aoife and Fergal and that the couple gave each other over the years…
Thanks to Aoife and Fergal for a fantastic afternoon!!x
