I am fully insured and hold public liability insurance. This is essential for professional wedding photographers as many wedding venues or historic sites such as castles will not allow photographers onsite without it.

Does a travel fee apply? For weddings I will travel anywhere in Ireland at no extra charge. For weddings outside the republic of Ireland a travel fee may apply.
How long do group and family shots take?
Formal photographs like family photos are an important part of your wedding album and can be taken straight after your ceremony and won’t take much longer than 20minutes. A group shot can also be photographed efficiently if taken inside the church, from the altar.
How much posing will be involved on the day?
My photography style is very relaxed and natural. I will try to capture your day as authentic as possible with little interruptions for “directed” photographs, like a beautiful bridal portrait, photographs with bridesmaids and family, maybe the cake shot… When shooting romantic wedding photos I will ask you to interact with each other rather than with me in order to achieve more natural expressions. I will correct little things to make sure you look your best in the image. I will take between 30-40min for romantic shots and a few with bridal party to make sure you have time to spend with your family and friends.
Can you do some shots I have seen at other photographers?
It is most important for me to see you loving your wedding images! I have my own style but any idea is welcome! You can certainly show me the images you saw and loved and I will try my best to set them up for you.
What time do you start photographing on a wedding day?
If starting at the bride’s house I generally arrive 2-3hours before the ceremony. I take all the detail shots with bridal bouquet, shoes, jewellery, invitation card etc. And I also capture the buzz going on in the house, people chatting, the bride getting ready, the brothers decorating the car etc.
How long do you photograph on my wedding day?
Typically I cover your day beginning with the bridal preparations up to when you sit down for your dinner. You will have the option to extend my services and include speeches and the first dance in my photography coverage.
Do you work alone, have an assistant or second photographer on the day?
Generally I do work on my own photographing a wedding. On request I can hire a second photographer to cover other aspects of your wedding. We can discuss this option in a pre-wedding meeting.
When will we receive our photographs?
I aim to have your images ready for you within 3-4 weeks. In peek times, like May to October, the editing process can take up to 6 weeks. If you wish your wedding images to be prioritised and processed faster please talk to me.
How do we see our photos after the wedding?
After completing the editing process I will upload all images on a password protected online gallery. You will receive the link and password and you can share it with your friends and family. In addition you will also receive a DVD with all edited photographs for you to print from at any shop or lab.
Do we get every photograph you take?
No. During a typical wedding I shoot a lot more images than you will receive to ensure you get a great selection of the very best shots! Portraits with eyes closed, e.g. will be taken out.
How many photos will we get?
Each wedding is different, but normally you will receive between 400 to 600 photographs.
Do you edit the photographs?
Yes I do edit all images. All photographs of your wedding will be colour corrected and adjusted in contrast. They will also be cropped and some selected best images may be converted into black & white, sepia or have vintage filters applied to.
Do you shoot in colour or black and white?
I shoot all images in RAW which provides the best possible image quality and allows to make adjustments in any way. I might choose to turn some images into black and white but you can always get them in colour, if you wish.
Do we get copies of all our images?
Yes! All my packages include digital copies of your photographs in high resolution and full format, without any watermarking on DVD or USB.
Can we make our own prints?
Yes! You will have full user right on all of your wedding images.
What type of wedding albums do you offer?
I can offer you a large selection on wedding albums, from traditional albums to storybook albums, flush mount, matted and fine art photo albums. Whichever album you choose it will be custom designed down to your personal taste. During the process of designing the album you will have full control over every step up to it’s finalisation and print.
How long does it take to get my album?
Once you have chosen your images the design of your album can be completed within 1-2 weeks. If no further changes are being made, the album can go into print and may take between 8-10 weeks to be printed or assembled.
